Botanical Gardens

On the banks of the Port St. Lucie River, you can get lost for hours at Botanical Gardens. Located in the heart of the city on 20 acres of land, the Botanical Gardens boasts several amenities including a pavilion, a lake, and of course beautiful gardens. While at the Gardens, you can stroll through the rose garden, observe the wonder of the butterfly garden, or even catch a concert on occasion from the Fort Pierce Jazz and Blues Society.

Savannas Preserve State Park

Explore the freshwater marshes, sometimes known as savannas, that once covered Florida’s southeast coastline. The Savannas Preserve State Park offers many different activities at the park like hiking trails, canoeing/kayaking, equestrian trails, and freshwater fishing. You can also participate in one of the park’s numerous Ranger Programs with programs like guided walking and kayaking tours, hiking through Halpatiokee, and frog watching.

Civic Center Art Gallery

Come out and enjoy the work of local and regional artists at the Civic Center Art Gallery. The Civic Center houses a 2,000 square foot Art Gallery, which features a beautiful exhibition space, local artwork, and a variety of artistic techniques. The artist exhibitions rotate about every 8 weeks, which brings new vitality to the gallery and exposure to local artists. You can visit the Civic Center Art Gallery Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Tradition Field

Formerly known as Digital Domain Park and Thomas J. White Stadium, the Tradition Field baseball stadium has been home to the Class A team St. Lucie Mets since 1988. The ballpark also hosts the New York Mets for spring training every year. Many Port St. Lucie residents enjoy a night at a minor league baseball game with friends and family during the baseball season.
