Living in South Florida means we have access to plenty of adventurous sailing yachting along the coast and in the Florida Keys. Close proximity to the water provides South Florida unlimited access to all of the exciting recreational water activities. Whether you’re looking to host a special event on a yacht, spend a week sailing around the Florida Keys, or go snorkeling off your personal yacht, South Florida is the perfect place for sailing escapades! Here are a few of our favorite activities on and off the boat.
If you’re looking to escape the hustle-and-bustle of daily life for a few days, why not take an extended trip around the Florida Keys via yacht? Whether you are an experienced sailor with your own private yacht or looking to rent one for a few days with the family, South Florida has every option available! You can reserve a captained luxury sailing charter for any number of days, so you can just sit back and enjoy your vacation. While sailing around the Keys, drop in at a beachside cottage or explore one of the outer islands.
Go all out for your next corporate party or birthday bash by renting a party yacht for the day. It doesn’t matter if your party is 6 or 300 guests; gather your family, friends, and coworkers for a day spent on the water. Your party guests will love being able to go swimming, snorkeling, or just sunbathing on deck for the day. Most rental companies allow food and drink (including alcohol) on the boats, but make sure to call ahead and confirm what items are prohibited.
Experience the ocean like never before when you go offshore snorkeling from your yacht. South Florida is particularly known for the amazing snorkeling sites along the coast because of the extensive marine life and coral reefs. The Florida Barrier Reef, which extends almost 200 miles from north of Miami to the Keys, is home to more than 1,300 different species of plants and animals. Plus, snorkeling along the Reef is a great water activity for the whole family to enjoy!
For the ultimate romantic getaway, take a sunset dinner cruise on the South Florida waterways in a luxury yacht. Many yacht rental companies also offer dinner cruises year-round with food and drink included. You can book one for two or join other couples on a semi-private sunset cruise. Whether you want to cruise along the Intracoastal Waterway or sail around one of the Keys, most areas along the coast have local yacht outfitters. What could be a better way to enjoy the breath taking views of South Florida sunsets?
