In honor of World Vegetarian Day we decided to list out some of our favorite spots to catch a vegetarian or vegan bite. According to a recent 2012 Gallup Poll, 5% of Americans identify as vegetarian and 2% identify as vegan. Here in South Florida, we’ve got a lot of vegetarian friendly establishments that cater to those who prefer green and lean over beef or pork. If you’re vegetarian, vegan, or just adverse to the idea of eating meat, there’s a place for you. Go out and celebrate World Vegetarian Day with aplomb.
