Since 2001, Abacoa has grown into one of Jupiter’s most popular areas for families, businesses, and events – hence their tagline “Live. Work. Play”. In our business of real estate, we focus a lot on the “Live” and “Work” by making sure we provide the latest Abacoa homes for sale and detailed community information for our clients. But every now and then, we have to make sure we don’t forget about the “Play”! That’s why we decided to compile a list of some popular attractions you can find in or around Abacoa. Enjoy!
Roger Dean Stadium
Roger Dean Stadium is the centerpiece of Abacoa. This exceptionally built stadium is home to both the Cardinal’s and Marlin’s spring training and it also serves as a home for our two Florida State League teams, the Jupiter Hammerheads and the Palm Beach Cardinals. Fun fact: Roger Dean Stadium is most known for being the only complex in the United States to host two MLB teams for Spring Training and two full-season MiLB teams, operating out of the Florida State League. As a result, visiting the stadium is a unique experience because of their dueling sides. Meaning, once you walk into the stadium through the front entrance the stadium in divided in two. The dugouts, bullpens, clubhouses, and concessions are Marlin’s themed to the left and Cardinal’s themed to the right.
In addition to being one of the best sprint training fields, Roger Dean also hosts a number of events, fundraisers, and concerts. Making this an exceptional place to visit in Abacoa!
